Our Elective Hip and Knee Replacement Network Partners
In addition to the payment arrangements Dr has for the medical aids, he also has payment arrangements for elective replacements, namely Discovery Major Joint Network, JointCare and Improved Clinical Pathway Services (ICPS). These payment arrangements work across numerous medical aid plans.
The rooms manage which partnered agreement can be used for which elective replacements. There are rules and regulations to each contract. For example ICPS payment arrangement disqualifies members with certain health issues. The patient remains responsible to liaise with their medical aid and be informed.
